Airports across the Kingdom of Morocco welcomed 22,282,997 passengers during the first seven months of 2026, up 8.77% compared to the same period in 2025, according to the latest statistics from the National Airports Authority (ONDA). This growth is driven by a recovery in both international and domestic air traffic, a further sign of sustained demand for travel through Morocco's air gateways.
Breakdown between international and domestic flights
Total passenger traffic is split into two segments: international traffic, which recorded 19,894,489 passengers (+8.82%), and domestic traffic, which reached 2,388,508 passengers (+8.36%). In July alone, Moroccan airports welcomed 3,450,846 passengers, the highest monthly figure of the period.
Mohammed V Airport leads the ranking
Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport tops the ranking of Moroccan airports, followed by Marrakech-Menara, Agadir-Al Massira, Tangier-Ibn Battouta, and Rabat-Salé:

The fastest-growing regional markets
Europe remained the top-contributing regional market with 16,541,007 passengers (+9.29%), followed by African markets with 1,175,674 passengers (+13.74%). South America recorded the sharpest growth of all, at +34.21% (62,880 passengers), despite its limited volume, followed by North America (+14.54%, 581,297 passengers) and the Maghreb region (+10.06%, 295,188 passengers). Traffic from the Middle East and Asia, by contrast, fell 4.12% to 1,238,443 passengers, the only regional market to decline over the period.
Rise in aircraft and cargo traffic
Aircraft movements at the Kingdom's airports reached 164,164 during the seven months, up 9.82%, led by Mohammed V Airport with 55,223 movements, followed by Marrakech-Menara with 42,028 movements and Agadir-Al Massira with 15,009 movements. The volume of air cargo transported through Moroccan airports also rose to 66,980.55 tonnes, up 12.61% compared to the same period last year.
