These interlocutors also place international geopolitical tensions and their effects on energy markets among the factors weighing on market. What does this pullback mean? This decline comes after a year that saw strong profits for companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange amounting to billions of dirhams, bringing the current correction of the index back to pre-March 2026 levels, and erasing part of the gains accumulated during the past months. The development of the market in the coming weeks depends on the continuation of the profit-taking wave, the course of international geopolitical tensions and their impact on energy and raw materials prices.
