Ministry of Health: Operation of 15 new health centers in 6 regions in Morocco
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced the entry into service of 15 primary health care institutions in 6 Moroccan entities, benefiting more than 375,000 people, as part of a national program to rehabilitate the health offer.
On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced the actual start of the operation of 15 primary health care institutions distributed over 6 regions of the Kingdom, after the completion of rehabilitation and equipment works. These new institutions target more than 375,677 people, while the&nb sp;Mobilizing 50 health professionals to ensure medical and nursing services. The entry of the Casablanca Settat Health Cluster into operation In parallel, the Casablanca Settat Health Cluster entered into active operation, to take an integrated regional measure of the health supply, enhance coordination between various health institutions, and improve patient care. Why does this decision matter? This step is part of the national program to rehabilitate 1,600 primary health care institutions, including 500 institutions in 2026 alone, within the framework of keeping pace with social protection mainstreaming workshops that aim to bring basic health services closer to citizens, especially in rural and semi-urban areas that were suffering from poor health coverage.
