The Moroccan beach volleyball team (men) won the title of the African Championship, after beating its Algerian counterpart 2-0 in the final match held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Abu Haif Beach in Alexandria, Egypt. With this coronation, the Moroccan team secured the card of the He qualified directly for the Olympic Games scheduled in Los Angeles in 2028. Final Match Details The Moroccan team decided the final without the need for a tiebreaker, winning the first set with a score of 21-19 and then deciding the second set by a larger difference of 21-13 against Algeria. The competition took place within the framework of the African Beach Volleyball Championship hosted by Alexandria, in which a total of 45 teams participated, distributed between 24 teams in the men's category and 21 teams in the women's category, representing 28 African countries.
