Luis Enrique: "More of a forward than a defender"
Spanish coach Luis Enrique praised Hakimi's performance after the match, saying the Moroccan right-back now operates more like a player pushing into advanced attacking zones than a classic full-back, a sign of how his role within the team has evolved this season.
An exceptional season and a Ballon d'Or contender
The performance comes amid a remarkable season for Hakimi at Paris Saint-Germain: he is the only Moroccan player nominated for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, and the Moroccan voter in France Football's ranking placed him first, ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal.
Paris extends its lead before major fixtures
With this win, Paris Saint-Germain strengthened its lead at the top of Ligue 1 with 20 points after nine matchdays, while Le Havre remains stuck on 2 points at the bottom of the table. The Parisians will travel to face Villarreal in the Champions League next Tuesday, before hosting Troyes next Saturday in the league.
